What is a natal chart? Natal charts (also known as birth charts) map the astrological and planetary placements of the moment someone was born. Imagine that when you were born, your mother looked up and drew a circle in the sky. The circle gets divided into 12 pieces of pie. The sun, moon, and all the planets would fall into one of 12 pieces (houses). For this reason, each chart is extremely unique.
